About Kotu

Kotu sits just north of Kololi and is a little calmer. It has a long sandy beach, a good choice of hotels and beach bars, and the Kotu Stream, which is a well-known spot for birdwatchers. Fajara, next door, is leafier and quieter still. You're only a few minutes from the Senegambia Strip if you want a night out, and about 20 minutes from Kachikally Crocodile Pool in Bakau.
