You can hire one of our drivers for a local eight-hour day from £45, about D4,500. It suits visitors who want to combine places at their own pace, keep shopping bags in the car or avoid arranging a separate taxi for every stop. Message us on WhatsApp and we will agree the route and price before you set off.
What does a driver-for-the-day booking suit?
It is a simple option for a Banjul morning, a market stop, Kachikally, Abuko or a beach afternoon in one day. We pick you up, wait while you visit, and keep the day flexible when a place deserves more time. For trips further upriver or a full packaged tour, ask us for a separate fixed price.
How do we plan the day?
Tell us where you are staying, how many people are travelling and the places you have in mind. We will explain what fits comfortably and suggest a sensible order. You do not need to plan every minute. A driver who knows the roads, market areas and ferry timings can make the day less stressful.
Where can we go?
Popular combinations include Banjul and Albert Market, Kachikally and Bijilo, or Tanji and the south coast. If you are a birdwatcher, ask about an early start for Abuko or Tanji.
Local tip from our drivers
Start with two or three places rather than a long list. The best days leave room for a market stall, a lunch stop or a beach you did not know you would like.
