Taxi from Banjul Airport to Kololi

The drive
From the airport at Yundum, we head towards the coast through the busy junctions around Serrekunda, then down to Kololi. At night it's quicker. At rush hour it can take a little longer, but you won't pay any more.
About Kololi
Kololi is where most visitors to The Gambia stay, and it's easy to see why. The Senegambia Strip is right in the middle of it, a short road packed with restaurants, bars, cafés and live music, and it's busy every night of the season. The beach is a couple of minutes' walk from most hotels. Bijilo Forest Park, the Monkey Park, is just to the south and you can walk there. From Kololi, everything on our top 10 list is within easy reach, from Kachikally in Bakau (about 20 minutes) to Makasutu near Brikama (about 45 minutes).
